Independents for Frome : ウィキペディア英語版 | Independents for Frome
The Independents for Frome (ifF) are a minor political party based in Frome, in the English county of Somerset. Formed in 2011 it is now prominent in Frome Town Council, which from May 2015 it now controls all 17 seats. The emergence of the party is a result of ideas developed by Peter Macfadyen which have been described as "flatpack democracy". ==History==
Independents for Frome was first established in January 2011 by a group of Frome residents. The party fielded 17 candidates in the 2011 local elections, winning ten seats and therefore taking control of the town council with their majority. Independents for Frome featured in a discussion on 'Radical Movements' alongside representatives from Podemos, Syriza and the Radical Independence Campaign at the Left Field at Glastonbury Festival 2015.
